Job Summary:
The PATHH Guides of Boulder Crest Foundation, a Posttraumatic Growth Academy that is part of the Boulder Crest Foundation, are responsible to the Program Director for the planning, preparation, coordination, and delivery of PATHH programs focused on cultivating and facilitating for combat veterans and their family members, and first responders who are struggling with stress.
Through intensive and immersive training, PATHH Guides enable participants to transform times of deep struggle into profound strength and lifelong growth, and live the great lives they deserve - full of passion, purpose, growth, and service.
Summary of essential job functions
Participate in all Warrior PATHH programs (estimate: 14 per year), which may require staying at the facility for four to six days during programs depending on travel distance from home.
Participate in one Military Teen Retreat program and two Songwriting With:Soldiers PATHH programs per year
Become trained and proficient as a PATHH Guide, working diligently through the PATHH Guide Continuum, and accompanying activities, including kayaking, hiking, archery, equine activities, TRX, and module delivery
Participate in all Boulder Crest training programs as well as professional development
Assist the Operations Team during programs in caring of equipment and horses
Ensure quality reception, support, service, and experience for all program participants at Boulder Crest
Perform functional duties as assigned - this includes but is not limited to recruiting for PATHH programs, support with survey collection, alumni outreach and support, MyPATHH app engagement, and PATHH Guide Training Academy
Ensure participant information is added to alumni database to maintain contact through 90-day program and conduct regular scheduled Zoom calls with alumni cohorts for support
Develop content for MyPATHH technology application and support students along their PATHH journey
Support and participate in community relations events as needed to deliver world-class programming at Boulder Crest
Participate in all Program, Staff, and Management meetings as scheduled
Live Boulder Crest Foundation and PATHH Guide attributes and core values at all times
Minimum requirements
The PATHH Guide must be a combat veteran or first responder.
The PATHH Guide will typically have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, or have served in military or first responder leadership positions with 6-10 years (plus) experience.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, PATHH Guides are regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear.
The position also requires spending a lot of time outdoors.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Travel
PATHH Guides must be able to travel to get back and forth to work and run errands (within 100 miles).
A driver's license and a good driving record are required to use company vehicles.

The work environment is a small, busy facility.
