Teaching June 11-July 25.
Monday through Thursday only.
No school 6/19, 6/20, or 7/4.
First semester 6/11-7/3.

HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL TEACHERS
Vacancies exist for high school summer school teachers for the High School Summer School Program.
Teachers are needed for Grad Point courses (applicant must have experience and expertise teaching and working in a computer-based lab setting).
The number of positions and position availability is contingent upon student enrollment.

Specialized Skills
West Virginia teacher certification in any area of study for grade levels 9-12.
Applicant must have experience and expertise in working in a computer-based lab setting.
Additional Job Information
Teachers will be employed based upon appropriate WV certification and summer school seniority.
Teachers must be available to teach the entire session.
Requests for vacation will not be approved and summer school absences are included when determining the sick leave incentive.
The availability of these positions are subject to acceptable student enrollment numbers to be able to offer the courses.

Addendum-Job Description-Summer School Teacher
A.
Teachers will be required to submit weekly lesson plans.
B.
Teachers’ work day will be from 7:15 a.
m.
– 2:15 p.
m.
C.
Teachers will be required to provide supervision.
D.
Teachers will be required to be available for 6 weeks of summer school.
E.
SICK LEAVE BONUS: Extended contract days (summer school) will
become a part of the number of days worked
in a fiscal year and affect allowable days absent.
Employees working extended contracts
(summer school) who take leave without pay
(dock), personal leave (leave without cause),
personal illness, bereavement, maternity leave,
and labor action (strike) shall constitute days
absent toward eligibility in participation in
sick leave bonus pay.
