*Legal Assistant*
*Description:* We are looking for an Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join our growing team.
The legal assistant will ensure that our estate planning matters are processed correctly and promptly.
Our clients are worried about their families and futures, and this position will be a key part in our mission of providing them with hope and peace of mind through Relational Estate Planning®.
This position is primarily for our Winchester location, although occasional days in our Ashburn office may be required.
This is an entry level position, meaning no prior legal experience is necessary, and there is opportunity for advancement and growth as our firm grows.

*Job Responsibilities:*
* Ensure clients move promptly through the Estate Planning Process.
* Ensure quality assurance on estate planning documents and client experience.
* Attend estate planning document review meetings.
* Identify bottlenecks in the estate planning process.
* Manage revisions to the process for estate planning.
* Draft estate planning documents.
* Prepare estate documents for clients to sign and facilitate the signing process as needed or as backup to Estate Planning Lead.
* Conduct most Winchester signings and, when scheduled, Ashburn signings.
* Proof Draft Deeds
* Answer phone during assigned time periods in a professional and courteous manner and implement intake process when applicable.
* Handle Follow-up to initial contacts and reschedule introductory calls when necessary.
* Keep client matters up to date in task manager and assign the follow-up tasks to the appropriate Intake Specialist.
* Review Intake Notes and Questionnaires and Prepare Estate Planning Matters for Drafting.
* Coordinate with Team about the Preparation of Estate Planning Matters
* Revise estate planning documents in a timely manner.
* Keep record of document changes and client questions and correspondence.
* Prepare documents for clients to sign and facilitate the signing process.
* Close matters and send review emails.
* Prepare Weekly and Monthly Performance Reports.
* Sort mail, process in a timely manner, and enter into spreadsheet as needed.
* Consistently update estate planning process.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.
