*Therapist - Job description* Mountaineer Recovery Center seeks individuals who desire to work at a cutting-edge behavioral health facility.
We offer multiple levels of care including 80 residential beds and outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
Our team of clinical, medical and administrative staff are dedicated to the best quality of care for our patients in recovery.
We are seeking a strong clinician with a passion for patient care to join our team in our fast-growing behavioral health practice.
The chosen candidate will work with individuals, facilitate groups, lead family sessions, complete initial assessments.
Length of stay varies depending on a person’s needs, but individuals typically stay from one to six months.
Our curriculum and programming include group therapy, individual therapy, recreational outings, connecting with community 12 step groups, as well as provide life skills training so that individuals can live substance-free by living differently.
Candidates must be team oriented, have polished speaking and writing skills, and be knowledgeable of addiction treatment practices and principles.
· *Duties and Responsibilities:* o Biopsychosocial assessments o Create/Update Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) o Provides weekly individual therapy o Family/Couples therapy § Group therapy § Completes documentation in electronic health record system in a timely and thorough manner o Attends weekly interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to review progress of each patient o Provides crisis intervention work as necessary o Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary MRC team to create solutions for the best quality patient care *Qualifications*: o Master’s level degree in a human service or health care related field such as Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, etc.
o Licensed in West Virginia as a LGSW, LCSW or LICSW strongly preferred, but not required o Working knowledge of computers and common software o COVID and Flu Vaccinations are required for employment.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: up to $70,000.
