Our Office Secretary role provides administrative support to our patients and providers in our family practices, pediatric and women’s health practices and specialty practices such as digestive health and gynecological oncology.
In this role the Office Secretary will:
Provide clerical, secretarial, registration and collection activities to ensure the prompt and efficient care of patients to meet the goals and objectives of the practice.
The Office Secretary will also determine and, as required, make changes to patient demographic and insurance information as well as review requests and/or insurance requirements for accuracy and completion.
Qualified applicants will also provides appointment services for all areas and ensure patient exam(s) ordered information is accurate and complete while determining if exam preparation is required and informing patient of the same if applicable.

What you Need to Have:
You must be a High School Graduate or have obtained a GED (with a commerical business emphasis).
Graduates of secretarial, medical administrative, or allied health programs are preferred.
Prior medical office experience a plus!
Requirements
Education - Graduation from high school with Commercial/Business courses or the equivalent required.
Graduation from Medical/Secretarial program preferred.
Experience - Previous medical office and computer experience preferred.
Licensure – None required.
Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Good communication skills, including proper grammar usage and ability to manage confidential patient information.
