Just picked this up thinking I was going to mod it.
Instead, I cleaned up the fretwork (polished and removed sharp fret ends).
New EXL110s, intonation, action and neck relief all adjusted for playability.
I also adjusted the action at the nut and installed a .
25 degree Stew Mac neck shim to optimize the saddle height adjustment.
Everything works as it should.
You can get one of these new for a few bucks more, but it won’t play like this one.
