The Production Planner is responsible for understanding and fulfilling the needs of the customer while still smoothing scheduling in a way that enables Production to be successful.
The Planner will work with all departments in the plant to coordinate needed production activities in a high paced environment.
* CertainTeed’s largest vinyl siding manufacturing plant
* 24/7 operation; 350 days per year
* Scheduling production runs to maximize efficiencies while minimizing backorders
* Minimal travel involved

Prior experience with scheduling in a high-volume environment is required to ensure a candidate’s ability to be successful in the position.
* Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or similar preferred
* Two or more years of relevant responsibility in Supply Chain Management
* Extensive CT SPG product and material experience preferred
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and adjust quickly to changing circumstances of the day
* SAP, Excel, Word, excellent communication skills needed
