Student Worker-Learning Technology

Duties Answering the Learning Technology Help Phone.
Assisting instructors with classroom audio-visual equipment problems.
Performing periodic Preventative Maintenance (cleaning) of the audio-visual equipment in the classrooms (on and off-campus locations) and inventory.
Computer cart set-ups & retrievals on campus.
Assisting with equipment installation in classrooms.
Support of campus events (equipment set-ups, teardowns, and providing technical support).
Videotaping of ceremonies and events on campus.
Other duties as assigned.
Special skills needed Must be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Must have computer skills, and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Videography and editing skills are helpful.
Must be able assist in the installation, troubleshooting and operation of audio-visual equipment.
Must be able to lift & carry 60-75 lbs.
and be comfortable using a ladder.
MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE SPRING 2024 SEMESTER.
MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS.
UNLESS FIRST-SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.
0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED.
