*JOB TITLE: *HVACR Technician / Installer *FLSA: *Non *-*Exempt
*DEPARTMENT:* Service
*REPORTS TO: *Service Manager
*GENERAL SUMMARY: *
Perform service and installation of heating and air conditioning equipment.
Perform annual maintenance/efficiency tune ups.
Work various shifts, night and weekend work required.
Overtime required on an as needed basis.
Good interpersonal skills required for internal and external customers.
Dependability and punctuality required.
*PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Ensure timely and safe performance of service calls.
* Ability to help with installation of equipment and tanks.
* Ability to work effectively with wireless technology and proprietary software.
* Generate billable revenue within a “flat rate” environment.
* Work effectively with Service Dispatch
* Dispatched from home.
* Work nights/weekends and holidays as required.
* Work effectively in a Team environment.
* Deal effectively and timely with customer issues.
* Performs other tasks & duties as assigned or required.
*MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:*
* High school graduate or GED
* Journeyman’s license desired, required to obtain once employed.
* Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement.
* Ability to use available communication equipment (smart phone, tablet).
* 3-5 years of experience, industry background preferred.
* Climb into and out of a service van 6-10 times per day.
* Frequent climbing of stairs required.
* Ability to lift 5 gallon cans of fuel and pour into oil tank.
* Constant bending and lifting required.
* Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.
on a frequent and daily basis.
* Ability to deal professionally and courteously with co-workers and customers.
*WORKING CONDITIONS *
Must be able to work in all types of climates and conditions indoors and outdoors to include heat, cold, rain, snow and ice.
Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, fumes, hazardous materials and high noise volumes.
