Microbiologist Technician

Nature's Touch Frozen Foods, LLC, seeks Microbiologist Technician in Front Royal, VA.
Responsible to review and submit the pathogen COAs on Costco website; Review the analysis result of the raw materials and finished products and releasing them on the timely manner.
Receiving the raw materials on Hold, supervising the QA technicians for sampling, and performing the required testing on raw materials and finished products.
Daily inspection of production and warehouse to make sure employees following good manufacturing practices.
Addressing any non- conformances with the responsible manager.
Follow up with the suppliers for any non-conformances found in raw materials .
Entering data in the required log and reviewing their corrective action and preventive plan.
Document verification.
Instruments calibration Develop and maintain SOP/GMP policies and guidelines Order Lab Supplies Participate in monthly internal audit from the required areas.
Participate in root cause analysis of any non-conformances and help to put a corrective action and a preventive control.
Participating in continuous improvement project as needed Supervise the physio chemical analysis to check the quality of incoming raw materials Provide tasks training for a new quality technician.
Made a training video for the sanitation team.
Working on creating a new module training for production team.
Perform environmental monitoring pathogen swabbing and analysis.
Supervising and helping on Listeria, Salmonella and Sampling and prepare the finished product for microbiology analysis Performing and coordinate monthly freezer and production audit.
Bachelor's in Food Safety and Technology or Related Field and SQF, HACCP, PCQI certification required.
