Millworker/Cabinetmaker

At Annandale Millwork and Allied Systems Corporation, our Mill Shop produces Custom Architectural Millwork.
Working from detailed shop drawings our Cabinetmakers and Mill Mechanics fabricate Custom Cabinets, Moldings or Architectural Features for both residential and commercial jobs locally and in the DC Metro Area.
Required Skills · Minimum education preferred- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) · Minimum 5 Years Experience in cabinetmaking or millwork is preferred.
· Experience in set-up and use of Table Saws, Jointers, Planers, Shapers, and Routers.
· Must be able to work accurately and independently from shop drawings to make cut lists and mill solid wood parts form rough lumber.
· Knowledge of different Joinery and Fabrication Methods · Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Must be dependable and maintain good attendance.
· Knowledge of AWI Standards is helpful.
Major Responsibilities · To produce Millwork that meets our client’s quality standards.
· Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required.
· May perform other duties or projects as assigned by management.
