Heavy Duty Wrecker Operator

*INWOOD TOWING AND RECOVERY is looking for a full-time Equipment Operator to join our team in Inwood, WV!* *This position is responsible for:* * Operating Semi Wrecker truck to tow Semi Trucks and Trailer.
* Loading and unloading of equipment from trucks.
* Maintaining equipment by cleaning, adjusting, and fixing equipment.
* Performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
* Ensuring that the work area is clean and free of debris before and during each day’s work.
* Performing daily pre-trip routine inspections on the equipment while it is being loaded or unloaded.
* Keeping accurate records of the work performed by using a computer to document operations.
Requirements: * A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Technology is preferred.
* At least 6 months of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
