Overview:
The 84 Internship Program is a paid program where the student will learn about the truss manufacturing and building industries from the perspective of the supplier.
The program’s focus is Structural Component Design while demonstrating how Design affects Customer Service, Sales, Production, Delivery and Construction Services by visiting manufacturing facilities and job sites.
This program has been developed to introduce ideal students eager to pursue a career in an industry such as ours, and possibly grow a career with our company as a Designer which can lead to other roles like Design Manager, Plant Manager, Sales Representative, General Manager, Division Manager, etc… We promote nearly 100% from within so if you have an entrepreneur mentality, looking for a solid company to build your career with, then this may be the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:
Production: learns how trusses and wall panels are constructed, plant operations and about each job position.
Design: learn software, development training, drafting and blueprints
Customer service/ sales: learn how we service our customers, shadow sales and management teams.
Engineer Wood Product (EWP): learn about our EWP hubs and their operations, production, design and sales systems
Construction services: learn how the final product is put together at a job site, learn our installed services systems and operations

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
