*Position Summary:*
Oversee the operations of maintenance department within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Plan, direct, and monitor preventative and corrective maintenance, and repair activities to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities operate reliably and efficiently.
Ensure the safety performance of all maintenance activities are conducted within safety protocol.
Provide a safe and controlled work environment for manufacturing personnel and contractors while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
*Experience and Qualifications:*
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
* 5+ years of practical experience in industrial maintenance (Mechanical, electrical or Facility).
Printing industry experience preferred.
* Computer literate proficiency in MS Office
* Excellent communication and human relations skills.
* Troubleshooting experience as well as problem solving solutions
* Be able to read blueprint/drawings/schematics
* Have a working knowledge of building system maintenance and operation.
* Experience implementing PMs, mechanical, electrical or both.
* Establish and maintain a safe, professional, respectful work environment for employees
* Have a very good understanding of all safety protocols and OSHA regulations (Lock Out Tagout, confine space, etc.
)
*Essential Functions:*
* Coordinates and manages the work of the maintenance staff.
Manages capital projects, equipment installs and major upgrades.
Oversees and directs outside contractors.
* Ensures all safety protocols and company policies are consistently followed.
* Continually mentors and trains team members.
Promotes cross training across department and plant.
* Works closely with schedulers to find available downtime on the equipment to perform preventive maintenance.
* Actively participates in lean manufacturing, best practice and efficiency improvement projects.
* Supports upgrades and equipment enhancements for productivity, safety and quality improvements.
* Supports new product testing and capabilities.
* Participates in daily production meetings
*Physical Requirements:*
* Must be able to walk/stand up to 75% of the shift and lift to 50 pounds
* Must be able to frequently bend/twist and have unrestricted use of upper extremities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $81,660.
00 - $85,000.
