*Position Summary*
The Receptionist provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
The Receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies, as well as additional clerical duties.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Answers telephones and directs the caller appropriately; will transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
* Greets, directs visitors/delivery personnel, and conducts COVID-19 screenings and protocols
* Distributes and receives employment applications to/from applicants
* Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel
* Provides callers with information such as Company address, directions to the Company location, Company fax numbers, Company website, and other related information
* Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail; maintains and routes publications
* Coordinates the pick-up, delivery, and shipping quotes of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.
)
* Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of office supplies
* Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating
* Maintains office upkeep by vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
* Assists with general shipping documentation for cabinet deliveries
* Assists with pickup of Company provided lunches
* Sorts and files job photographs
* Continuously updates various logs
* Generates and distributes production meeting paperwork
* Additional duties as assigned or required

*Work Environment*
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the typical environment found in an office, as well as those found in a wood manufacturing facility, such as noise, dust, heat, cold, and finishing fumes and odors.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle and reach, as well as have the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend as necessary.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
*Position Type and Expected Hours of Work*
This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm.
*Travel*
Up to 5% travel is expected for this position.
