WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Develop and execute health and safety plans for our operations sites in the U.
S.
according to company guidelines.
* Maintain client relationships on Health & Safety initiatives at our Operations Sites*.
30% Travel*.
* Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
* Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to policy and procedures.
* Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
* Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
* Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
* Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
* Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
*Skills*
* In-depth knowledge of workers compensation law and regulations
* Ability to fabricate or modify safety equipment as needed.
* Strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles
* Certification in CPR, first aid, or other relevant emergency response training
* Familiarity with workers compensation claims management processes - Proficiency in OSHA regulations and requirements.
* Experience conducting root cause analysis for accidents or incidents.
* Knowledge of environmental health and safety (EHS) practices
* Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs.
* Understanding of EPA regulations related to hazardous materials.
*WHAT WILL YOU NEED?*
* Associates degree.
* 5 years of Safety and warehouse or manufacturing experience.
* Great understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

* Great communication skills
