Responsibilities:
Monitor the plant’s performance from a maintenance perspective and redirect Maintenance efforts as needed to correct problems
Identify current and future maintenance requirements across the plant and develop/oversee implementation of corrective actions
Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual maintenance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action
Manage Maintenance personnel and the Building & Grounds Supervisor (where applicable)
Allocate/distribute resources among the various Supervisors within the department.
Initiate, coordinate and enforce various programs, and personnel policies and procedures
Support new product development and improvement by reviewing new product plans, discussing equipment needs and modifications with Design Engineers and coordinating activities of Technicians and workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools or equipment
Provide proper distribution of utilities throughout the plant by ensuring proper maintenance of these systems; control operation of the building utilities systems as needed
Design, implement, and modify preventative maintenance programs by reviewing production and maintenance reports and statistics
Protect employees and contractors by maintaining a safe and clean working environment; responsible for seeing that proper safety training is provided to all plant departments
Coordinate/supervise Maintenance personnel's role in rebuilds
Schedule machine clean-outs and coordinate maintenance activities during clean-outs and preventative maintenance downtimes
Ensure that the Maintenance Department complies with all ISO 9002 standards established for the department
Manage Maintenance CAPEX projects as needed
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical field preferred; and
Minimum five (5) years of experience in an Industrial Maintenance or technical field; and
Minimum five (5) years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; and
Minimum five (5) years of management experience

Minimum ten (10) years of engineering/maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; and
Minimum five (5) years of management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of maintenance and management principles involved in project planning, resource allocation and leadership techniques
Working knowledge of machinery and its design/use
Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations and standards
Knowledge of process improvement methodology/practices
Knowledge of SAP preferred
Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of the time depending on business needs
Computer skills in MS Windows environment; Proficient in Word and Excel
