*What you will be doing:*
The General Operator (Special Team - Industrial Cleaner) is an entry level role who will be responsible for handling products, cleaning and maintaining their assigned area per ROCKWOOL standards, specifications, and policies as well as executing all tasks in compliance with government regulations (e.
g.
safety laws).
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
* Maintain a clean and efficient work area to support production via cleaning of the furnace tower, spinner deck, filter house, curing oven, conveyor belts, and ducts.
* Safely and efficiently operate forklift, a Zamboni, scissor lift, high-power pressure washer and other heavy equipment.
* Use tools, such as shovels, air hoses and wands, chisels, pneumatic equipment, hot wash guns, scrapers, dry ice machine, and basic hand tools, to complete cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment.
* Assist Yard Technicians as needed with maintaining the cleanliness of the raw material yard and waste house and assist with receiving raw material orders.

*What you bring:*
* Able to work in confined spaces.
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that is occasionally loud and/or hot
* Able to be climb, lift, and bend as needed.
* Able to use hand tools; wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
* Prior experience with Zamboni, scissors lift and boom lift.
* Prior experience fabricating or and rebuilding tools.
