Job Title: *Manufacturing Technician (Chemical Handling)* Location: *Front Royal, VA* Schedule: *12 Hour Rotating Shifts (4 days on 7 days off)* Salary: *$23.

00* Number of Positions: *13 Positions Available!!!!* *Summary:* Operate and trouble shoot Dispersion processing Mills to process paint, and load multiples size vessels in accordance with ISO 9001/2000 requirements and daily production schedules that are driven based on customer demand.
This is achieved by following safety procedures and standard operating procedures using various forklifts, hand tools, and other miscellaneous equipment in order to safely produce a quality product that gets filled into various container sizes and shipped to our customers.
*Job Description:* * Manage inventory and stock levels in electronic systems.
* Load dispersions, intermediates, and finished products accurately following detailed procedures.
* Operate various types of grinding mills, mixers, and various other mechanical equipment used in the paint making process.
* Operate a computerized “Auto Batch” system to load various ingredients into tanks.
* Manually measure and dispense various liquid and powder adds to various vessels.
* Manage hazardous chemicals and waste according to site policy, area specific procedures and training.
* Rotate through various Core Roles on Site * Perform various safety / housekeeping audits.
* Do some basic trouble shooting of equipment.
*Qualifications/Requirements:* * Knowledge of function specific information systems – basic knowledge of PC based computers * Knowledge of the physical requirements for the area * Knowledge of the hazards associated with the area.
* Skills to safely operate various pieces of mechanical equipment.
* Skills to do basic math equations.
* Ability to work in a self-managing team environment.
* Ability to lift 50#’s on a routine basis.
* Ability to work in different temperature climates.
* Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
* Ability to multi-task daily with minimal supervision Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.
