Beachley is looking for a motivated Finisher for our custom commercial furniture business.
Duties include prepping and painting or staining furniture and millwork.
The ideal candidate should have experience in sanding, wood filler, masking, priming, color matching, and problem-solving.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
The custom finishes we produce include but are not limited to paints, stains & lacquer, post-catalyzed conversion varnished, bleaching, wire & nylon brushing, and various sheens.
Ultimately, a successful finishing job will culminate in beautiful product and a satisfied customer.
Previous experience is a must.
*Responsibilities:*
· Prep & finish furniture or millwork.
· Maintain safety in the finishing booths.
· Spraying industrial coatings using air assisted and HVLP spray systems.
· Spraying conversion varnish, stains, glazes, or similar post-cat/2K systems.
· Producing and organizing custom color matches per customer’s samples.
· Proper record keeping of formulas and products used per project.
*Requirements:*
· Must have 5 years of experience.
· Strong organizational skills for planning a day’s workflow.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.
00 - $25.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
