_*Kitting Specialist *_: · *SUMMARY:* Responsible to ensure hardware kits are accurate and complete, hardware is issued correctly to the Work Order and inventory levels are correct in MieTrak.
*RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:* Duties and responsibilities to accomplish the primary functions of providing accurate kits to Production, issuing hardware and ensuring inventory levels are accurate: * Prepare kits for Production that are complete and accurate in accordance with Pick Lists / Work Order Requirements * Issue hardware and hardware kits to Production personnel * Maintain records on the use / issuing of inventory * Lifting, packing and unpacking inventory items and stocking them on shelves * Work closely with Purchasing and Production personnel regarding inventory availability * Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigate discrepancies and adjust errors * Store items in an orderly and accessible manner * Mark stock items using identification tags and other labeling equipment * Dispose of expired items and damaged or defective items as directed by supervision * Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories and kit shortages and goods used or issued * Communicate kit shortages to Management and Purchasing * Examine and inspect stock items for wear, defects and expiration and reporting any issues to supervisors * Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location * Assist in receiving and counting stock items, and recording data manually and using a computer * Assist in maintaining receipt data and documents and provide any included Quality Records to Quality Assurance *SKILLS:* · Extremely organized and detail oriented · Self-motivated · Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment · Ability to work well with others and in a team environment · Working knowledge of inventory management techniques · Lift and move inventory items and containers · Solid computer skills *EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:* · High School Diploma or equivalent with · 2+ years experience in Stockroom / Warehouse position · MS Office applications and MRP software proficiency Candidates will be pleased to learn that Electromet Corporation offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes: * Health * Dental (free to employee) * Vision (free to employee) * Short Term Disability * Long Term Disability (free to employee) * 401K * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off (accrual to start with hire) * Paid Holidays * $1000 sign on bonus at 6 months of service Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person
