JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager – Information Technology (IT) department will manage multiple projects with a focus on communication, schedules, budgets, milestones, risk/issue management, scope management, project quality and team building.
This role will be responsible for management of IT projects from project conception through post implementation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Organize, manage, and lead the IT project team including working with resource managers to identify roles and responsibilities and assign.
Mentor project team and stakeholders on Project Management Office (PMO) process and requirements.
Create and communicate project status reports, team meeting agendas and minutes, stakeholders meeting agendas, materials and minutes, and other communications as required.
Facilitate, document, and manage the IT project requirements to include scope changes.
Manage the planning, estimating, budgeting, financing, monitoring and controlling of cost to enable IT projects to be completed within the approved budget.
Manage the timely completion of IT projects using the Global IT methodology and various IT project management tools and techniques.
Utilize the Global IT methodology, Change Management Team & IT projects tools to identify people, groups, & organizations that could impact or be impacted by IT projects.
Analyze expectations and develop strategies to engage stakeholders in moving through the change process.
Ensure that all aspects of the project are well coordinated, run smoothly, and produce the desired project management deliverables and artifacts.
These include items such as the Project Management Plan, Project Schedule, Project Scope Change, and Project Status Reports, etc.
Manage the quality process for IT projects using the Global IT methodology and various IT project management tools and techniques.
With the assistance of the global purchasing team, manage all procurement of products or services as required for IT projects using the Global IT methodology and IT project management tool and techniques.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Project Management or in a related field.
Three (3) or more years of experience in IT Project Management or in a related area.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Five (5) or more years of experience in IT Project Management or in a related area.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Experience using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as: Clarity, SharePoint, or ServiceNow.
Proficient with various web-based software applications Microsoft Office Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Project Management Principles.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and terminology.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively communicate and all levels of the organization.
Strong customer focus and effective use of a consultative approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
Detailed oriented.
