What you will do As a Senior Project Manager for Greenhouse Gas and Engineering Certification Programs at Volvo Trucks, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

As a leader within the group, you will present and influence decisions at upper levels of management, drive continuous improvement, develop people, drive team spirit with courage and high integrity.
Additionally, you will be responsible for: • Ensuring the right solutions in our portfolio are developed and introduced to meet Greenhouse Gas (GHG) legislation and Certification programs.
• Acting as a key player in the most extensive vehicle/driveline projects for the future.
• Working in close cooperation with a variety of stakeholders and solution providers to ensure the technical delivery is on target according to the project pre-requisites.
• Leading the Quality, Delivery, Cost, Features within a team of engineering and cross functional teams.
• Working in an Agile environment and being a part of the transition from Project to Product Streams.
• Managing new technology implementations into the chassis product streams.
Your future team Our team, Portfolio Management is a critical part of the Vehicle Engineer function of Group Trucks Technology for Volvo Group North America.
Our work within vehicle engineering includes electrical, chassis, complete vehicle, product development and integration to deliver a strategic project for Mack and Volvo Trucks.

In this role, you will bring: • Team player mindset interacting through a broad network, having the skills to transfer high level prerequisites into project requirements and deliverables.
• Ability to comfortably communicate and report project QDCFS in reference group and management teams.
• Prioritization and focus on delivering technical solutions.
• Leadership skills including the ability to influence final decisions as an advising stakeholder.
• Strong analytical, financial and leadership skills.
• Insightfulness and ability to see the big picture.
• Adaptable and Able to quickly dig into technical topics questions, evaluate impacts, summarize, and provide technical recommendations.
Requirements • Bachelor’s in Engineering or similar is required.
• 8-12+ years of experience in automotive or a related field.
• Specific experience in Product Development, Heavy Duty Truck industry.
• Specific knowledge of the Volvo/Mack Product a plus.
Preferred • Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Project Management and/or cross-functional team lead experience.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Strong understanding Knowledge of GHG Regulations (phase II and III).
• Proven experience documenting, planning, and coordinating among multiple projects.
