What you will do At Volvo Group you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
You will: Evaluate, design, test and implement manual and automated financial accounting systems.
SAP – FI, CO Local Key User and Local EBD Finance Super User.
Evaluate processes, procedures and systems regarding the financial accounting work and confirm compliance with Volvo Financial Policies and Procedures.
Collect and maintain pertinent information on organizational structure, processes, rules, and regulations.
Identify, recommend and drive required process improvements.
Work with the business control team to identify the resolution to problems and issues related to IT platforms and data communications.
Manage the user training plans to IT systems.
Secure and validate details from various systems for financial analysis and reconciliations.
Support the Operations Business Control Manager in driving local governance and change management.
Collecting and analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives for Finance IT systems.
Processing and maintaining financial records in the system and generating reports and conducting analyses on financial systems data.
Testing new features of the system as they are implemented to verify accuracy of financial procedures.
Bring business knowledge and requirements from all users to the Business Process Developer (BPD) or Solution Leader.
Analyze business issues or requests from a process and solution perspective before initiating a formal change request.

In this role, you will bring: Problem Solving Skills: Work with the business controlling team to identify the resolution to problems and issues related to Volvo IT platforms and data communications.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Identify, recommend and drive required process improvements.
Analytical Skills: Recognize patterns in data, information, or events, drawing logical conclusions, and making recommendations for action.
Experience with Power Query or other data analytics tools beneficial.
Advanced Systems Knowledge: Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, QlikView or other desired.
Passion for manufacturing: Experience and desire to use data and be able to explain the "Why" behind the data.
Basic programming experience with Python or similar preferred.
Experience in SAP FI and Essbase is a plus.
SAP knowledge preferred.
