POSITION OBJECTIVE Provide primary support for end user computing needs by supporting the deployment and maintenance of all hardware and software requests and requirements for both internal and external clientele.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to end users on hardware and software issues • Respond to helpdesk queries, isolates issues, and determine and implements solution • Procurement, set-up and installation of new desktops, printers and peripheral equipment • Work with existing third party support teams in troubleshooting and resolving system issues • Accurately maintaining IT asset inventory and software licensing compliance.
• Ensuring systems have up-to-date antivirus & anti-malware protection.
• Ensuring software updates are tested and applied in a timely fashion.
• Continuously improve help desk service according to industry best practices • Implementing methodologies to improve first call resolution, managing customer perceptions, and building strong internal & external relationships.
• Documenting issues with corresponding resolution to build up knowledge base.
• Assuming ownership of helpdesk tickets through resolution.
Escalating and/or coordinating troubleshooting efforts with third party vendors.
• Maintaining open communication with end users to instruct and to promote a better understanding of technology.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE **** IT Experience is necessary for this position**** • Bachelor s degree in information technology or related technical discipline or experience.
• Possess impeccable oral and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, ability to apply analytical thought processing and maintain organizational skills.
• Ability to constantly strive for ways to improve and promote quality, accuracy and thoroughness.
• Must possess the ability to research, evaluate, recommend and implement best practices.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and the mission of the company.
• Hospitality experience is desired REQUIREMENTS ***Must be available to work Flexible schedule including Weekend shifts*** • The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties this job, the employee is regularly required to: • Stand, walk’ use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear.
• The employee must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• The employee must be able to see differences in widths and length of lines such as those on graphs.
