POSITION SUMMARY
The PSI Group in Williamsport MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking General Manufacturing Technicians to join our 1st and 2nd shift teams.
General Manufacturing Technicians assist our machine operators and are important team members in our production process.
These are entry level, full time positions with the opportunity for on the job training and advancement.
Core schedule for 2nd shift is Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 1:30am plus overtime as necessary.
These positions do not require the ability to rotate shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the Machine Operators by safely and efficiently feeding corrugated material into the manufacturing equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and initiatives.
• Transport printing dies and ink to and from production area.
• Manually transport and position empty pallets used in manufacturing process.
• Assist Machine Operator with daily operations and maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and excellent finished product quality.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safety first mentality.
• Average mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Average verbal and written communication skills.
• Team oriented approach.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Above average organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to enter product specifications into the computers.
• Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 pounds, standing for the majority of the shift.
• Basic troubleshooting experience with willingness and aptitude to increase skill level and knowledge.
• Basic math skills required (fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).

Experience in operating manufacturing machines is a requirement.
