What’s the job?
The Production Planner is responsible for understanding and fulfilling the needs of the customer while still smoothing scheduling in a way that enables Production to be successful.
The Planner will work with all departments in the plant to coordinate needed production activities in a high paced environment.
CertainTeed’s largest vinyl siding manufacturing plant
24/7 operation; 350 days per year
Scheduling production runs to maximize efficiencies while minimizing backorders
Minimal travel involved

What do you bring?
Prior experience with scheduling in a high-volume environment is required to ensure a candidate’s ability to be successful in the position.
Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or similar preferred
Two or more years of relevant responsibility in Supply Chain Management
Extensive CT SPG product and material experience preferred
Ability to handle multiple priorities and adjust quickly to changing circumstances of the day
SAP, Excel, Word, excellent communication skills needed
