Overview:*Kingspan Insulation* is searching for a *Maintenance Technician *to work in the Winchester, VA location.

This position is responsible for the installation, modification, repair, and preventative maintenance of plant facilities and production equipment.

This means less red tape and bureaucracy, making your work life easier! Key Duties Include:*Essential Duties* _Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.
Other duties may be assigned.
_ * Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a clean, safe work environment.
* Use of PLC system as a diagnosis aid in identifying or repair.
* Create preventive maintenance entries into Maintenance Connection and help with troubleshooting guidelines.
* Operate meter/scope/megar and diagnostic tools.
* Perform medium to complex work on control circuits.
* Perform medium to complex work with mechanical functions.
* Operates 100% of shop equipment.
* Generates ideas to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Works to eliminate future mechanical problems.
* Performs inspections as required including all areas covered by Process Safety Management (PSM).
* Tracks and logs work orders and parts supplies in maintenance connection and SAP systems.
Qualifications:*Skills, Knowledge & Abilities* *Education and/or Experience:* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Five (5) plus years of experience in plant maintenance preferred.
*Must have:* * Mechanical training and experience.

* Electrical training and experience.
*Must be able to:* * Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
* Work in a team based environment.
* Work twelve (12) hour shifts and overtime, as needed.
* Follow directions and get along well with others.
*Language Skills:* Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Must be able to communicate orally and written in English.
*Mathematical Skills:* Ability to calculate figures by using basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
*Reasoning Skills:* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
*Certificate/License: *Completion of basic electrical course work/certification is required.
Must have forklift operator license at time of hire/transfer, or be able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire/transfer into job.
