Job Description Responsibilities & Duties: Prioritizes and coordinates maintenance work to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
Performs troubleshooting as needed to minimize downtime.
Installs/ repairs/ maintains all types of electrical and mechanical equipment including PLC’s- wiring- motor starters- switches- motors- gearboxes- pumps- filters- actuators- valves- etc.
Able to read and understand all types of blueprints and CAD drawings.
Operates power tools- hand tools- and electrical and instrument test equipment to install- maintain- and troubleshoot plant equipment.
Operates all types of machine shop equipment including drills- lathes- milling machines- grinders- and cut-off saws- micrometers- calipers- and veneers.
Performs all necessary documentation of work performed and any unusual conditions- or defective equipment with the highest accuracy possible in SAP.
Administers training as needed.
Provides leadership toward team development Mentors “M” Technicians in technical and leadership skills.
Works with all team members to meet production goals within operating budgets.
Able to stand for long periods of time; be able to reach- bend- stoop- push and/or pull- and frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds Performs all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
