JOB SUMMARY
Manage, direct and oversee assigned projects from award stage to fulfillment which includes customer liaisons/negotiations, takeoffs, timing, and coordination with the procurement, production scheduling and logistics departments.
Responsible for coordinating all production and loading activities needed to meet customer requirements.
Assists Operations leader in establishing and managing production schedules.
Meets regularly with the production and logistics supervisors to communicate anticipated production sequences, discuss potential production problems and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow.
Works with the Yard & Loadout Manager, supervisors and quality personnel in coordinating activities of the teams and collaborates with the management team to optimize production quality and workflow.
Maintains the ERP system by ensuring processes and transactions are properly documented and executed.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The position reports to the Operations leader.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Communicate with customers to establish and define requirements and expectations on all projects.
Coordinate with managers and team members to ensure we meet customer requirements and expectations.
Monitor the flow of all assigned projects, and assist where needed, to ensure that a precise and quality product is delivered to the customers requirements.
Ensure that all awarded projects, pertaining to our quote have current plans reviewed to match with quote or PO values.
Confirm proper submittals have been issued and approvals returned.
Manages incoming sales demand and customer expectations through close communication with the sales department, estimators, and management.
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams in order to develop policies and procedures for continual improvements to all departmental functions.
Collaborate with production and inventory control specialists, to ensure necessary production orders are being issued, discuss potential production issues and to provide opportunity for input on adjustments necessary to meet demand.
Assist department supervisors and managers with the utilization of all available tools, ie.
Titan, to maximize efficiency.
Utilize a high level of communication to minimize potential issues.
Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new hire onboarding and providing career development and planning.
Ability to engage employees and create a culture based on company guiding principles.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be safety-minded, team-oriented and customer-focused
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, coach, and mentor a team with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, goal/deadline orientation, and independent execution.
Highly organized and ambitious when it comes to meeting goals and deadlines.
Detail and technically oriented individual.
Ability to read and understand technical plans and specifications.
REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
