*Job Description:* We are currently seeking a skilled Class B Driver to join our team.
The Class B Driver will be responsible for transporting construction materials and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL), a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
*Responsibilities: *
· Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle, such as a dump truck or box truck, to transport construction materials and equipment to and from job sites.
· Load and unload materials and equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.
· Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials and equipment.
· Ensure that all transportation activities are conducted in compliance with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
· Communicate effectively with project managers, foreman, and other team members to coordinate transportation needs and ensure smooth project operations.
· Assist with other tasks on job sites as needed, including general labor and equipment operation.
*Requirements: *
· Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
· Must be in good standing with DOT.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably in the construction industry.
· Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
· Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
· Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and safety practices is a plus.
