We are looking for a responsible and motivated Value Added Services (VAS) and Small Pack Supervisor to join our team at our Winchester warehouse.
Working hours for this position are 6am-4:30pm.
Job Description The primary function of this position is to supervise and effectively manage assigned staff of the VAS & Small Pack departments.
The position manages hourly and temporary staff to effectively and productively meet operational standards within the assigned areas.
There will be circumstances which require the Supervisor to assist staff with hands-on processes, training, and work duties.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management Trains and monitors all direct reports on operational SOP’s for assigned areas.
Coaches and develops staff Coordinates work schedule and assignments with Production Manager and other Supervisors to maintain performance standards for assigned area(s).
Ensure materials are available for production by reviewing orders and inventory in house and work with Purchasing Coordinator on required materials.
Creates a culture of open two-way communication between Employee and Supervisor Evaluates all staff performance daily, weekly, monthly, and annually and provides direct feedback when necessary and tracks performance expectation in coordination with Operations Manager Inventory Management Understand order fulfillment which includes an order life cycle, product projects, sample processing, product quality checks, return processing, and inventory accuracy.
Understands how inventory is managed, processed, and use of WMS system to validate.
Works with Logistics to process orders for shipment.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One or more years of Operation/Distribution Experience.
Six months to two years experience managing staff within a distribution and/or manufacturing environment or equivalent.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good planning, organizational and communication skills.
Must be able to work a longer than 40 hour a week work schedule when business necessitates ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds Ability to bend, sit and stand for long periods of time Must be able to work in changing temperature conditions Additional Information Please submit your salary expectation with resume.
