Summary:
The Inventory Administrator is responsible for the entire inventory process (including wheat, feed, bags and finished product), working with the teams across the facility to ensure reporting is accurate at all times.
Will drive continuous improvement around the inventory processes and manufacturing analytics.
Operate as the main contact for the Minneapolis Finance team with regards to inventory and open purchase orders.
Compensation: $65,000.

Primary Duties:
Responsible for the accurate recording of inventory throughout the facility.
Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
Prepare daily and month end reports and distribute to appropriate parties.
Elevator (wheat unloads and elevator inventory)

Process returns from an inventory standpoint
Lead inventory process improvement for the mill, including establishing and tracking inventory and manufacturing key performance indicators (KPIs)
Actively collaborate with other MMC facilities and the corporate Finance team, sharing best practices and working together to solve common problems
Monitor inventory variances on an ongoing basis.
Investigate and work with various colleagues in the mill to lead the resolution of differences
Ensure all documentation is completed, processed and saved on all shipments
Track railcar inventory and movements for both flour and wheat cars
Work with the maintenance team to complete an accurate spare parts inventory on a quarterly basis
Coordinate feed orders with our feed customers, receiving POs and scheduling pick up times
Review daily ship report for accuracy, send it to A/R team in Minneapolis
Review, analyze and post blend entries for flour and wheat.
Follow up on any problems he/she identifies with the appropriate colleagues based on the analysis of the issue.
Manage open purchase orders (POs) for the mill with follow up as needed.
Be the first contact for accounts payable team in Minneapolis
Other Responsibilities:
Provide backup support for the Customer Schedule Administrator and Facility & Systems Administrator
Oversee daily order entries for accuracy with the Customer Schedule Administrator
Perform other duties as assigned and assist with other company department projects
Individual is recognized as a Qualified Individual under FSMA compliance requirements (All required training to be provided)
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or equivalent related experience
3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, cost accounting experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates effective collaboration, communication and influencing skills at all levels of an organization
Ability to devise plans of action and asses those plans regularly.
Strong record of successfully dealing with problems as they arise, anticipating problems before they happen while continuing to hit deadlines.
Ability to think objectively, interpret and present meaningful trend observations from quantitative and qualitative data.
Proficient at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
Excellent attention to detail with accuracy as a top priority
