We are looking for a Sr.
Engineering Project Manager to help us direct capital expense project activities.
As a Trex Sr.
Engineering Project Manager, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to help maximize facility productivity and efficiency.
This role is a key member of our Engineering team.

RESPONSIBILITIES Put safety first – Always! Lead and foster our “people first” culture Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large capital strategic projects and initiatives.
Demonstrate managerial courage by candidly and positively handling conflict, viewing it as an opportunity to find common ground and address tough issues.
Hold contractors and colleagues accountable for all agreed-upon deliverables.
Feel confident in leading multiple cross-functional teams on multiple projects on aggressive delivery schedules.
Capable of adapting quickly while maintaining momentum and team focus.
Project Management: Use effective project management tools and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and know how to realign them if necessary.
Manage project expenses, including forecasting capital expenses and working with vendors on purchase orders.
Document and communicate changes in project scope, schedules, and finances.
Manage and report project financials on a weekly and monthly basis.
Technical: Facilitate communication between process engineers, vendors, and contractors for quotations, scheduling, design, and equipment installation.
Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of hydraulics, pumps, motors, airflow, material conveyance, and industrial electricity.
Ability to anticipate potential issues in costs and timing and proactively implement mitigation steps.
EXPERIENCE We are looking for leaders with a bachelor’s degree in engineering along with 12+ years of Engineering Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams along with building schedules and financial tracking for multi-million-dollar projects is also required.
A PMP certification is preferred.
