Part-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher

Your job responsibilities/duties are: * Implement and assess planned lessons for students * Conduct daily classroom activities to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of each child * Ability to meet the needs of all students with different learning styles by using various teaching methods * Proven organizational skills with the ability to remain calm while meeting frequently changing and competing demands * Prepare educational materials to facilitate daily activities in accordance with the curriculum * Promote literacy and early education * Complete designated activities that are given by the Teacher * Create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment * Facilitate open communication with parents and staff * Provide and assist in creating nutritious meals and snacks * Comply with all state education and licensing standards * Become familiar with emergency protocols and procedures * Prepared for Professional Development, Training, and Observations * Cover a classroom when a teacher is unable to (sickness, vacation, other absence) If you are passionate about early childhood education and making a difference in the lives of young children, we encourage you to apply for this position.
