*Key Responsibilities:*
As a part-time Drama Teacher at Powhatan School, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the dramatic arts experiences for our students.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Directing Grade-Specific Plays for the Upper School: Directing the 8th-grade Shakespeare play, the 5th-grade play, and the 6th-grade play, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for both the cast and audience.
* Engaging Learning Experiences: Plan and facilitate engaging, relevant, and authentic learning engagements that capture students' interest and foster their curiosity in the field of Drama.
* Positive and Student-Centered Environment: Create and maintain a positive, student-centered environment that maximizes learning opportunities for all learners, promoting a safe and inclusive space for artistic expression.
* Holistic Development: Support the holistic development of all students, recognizing and nurturing their individual strengths, interests, and talents beyond the stage.
* Be a collaborative partner in building and sustaining trusting and constructive relationships with other colleagues.
