Teacher - Anticipated - History 2024-2025

Primary responsibility is teaching History at the high school level.
The preferred candidate will have earned a master’s degree in History or a master’s degree in any field with 18 graduate hours in History.
Qualifications: Applicants must be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with a History and Social Sciences.
License eligibility may be met through any of the following routes: Completed an approved teacher preparation program in history; Hold a bachelor’s degree in history from an accredited institute; Completed 32 semester hours in history coursework; or Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute with at least 5 years of documented full-time experience in history and pass the content assessment prescribed by the VDOE Salary: Range based on the 2023-2024 Teacher Salary Scale is $51,000 - $75,887 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree.
Fully licensed successful candidate eligible for $5,000 signing incentive and a $5,000 VRS qualified stipend.
The salary scale may be adjusted based on the 2024-2025 budget.
