Primary responsibility is teaching History at the high school level.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with a History and Social Sciences.
License eligibility may be met through any of the following routes:
Completed an approved teacher preparation program in history;
Hold a bachelor’s degree in history from an accredited institute
Salary:
Range based on the 2023-2024 Teacher Salary Scale is $51,000 - $75,887 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree.
Fully licensed successful candidate eligible for $5,000 signing incentive.
The salary scale may be adjusted based on the 2024-2025 budget.
