The Archdiocese of Baltimore seeking a highly-skilled individual to serve as a Middle School Math Teacher.
Our Primary School teachers have the opportunity to become part of a dynamic school community and would be responsible for instruction in all core subjects in a self-contained classroom.
Essential Functions
Follows and maintains knowledge of all AOB policies and procedures.
Implement lesson plans utilizing a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students.
Plan and execute an instructional program that upholds the values and ideals of the Catholic Church.
Create an instructional environment conducive to learning that is appealing and organized.
Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.
Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Safely and actively supervise students both inside and outside of the classroom.
Expertly integrate G Suite for Education into a 21st Century classroom.
Meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students in accordance with the
curriculum.
Effective instruction will include differentiated learning.
Position Qualifications
Degree in math or Education with a math concentration
MSDE teacher certification in Education for Math or the desire to obtain this
Knowledge of curriculum, and principles and practices of pedagogy
Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as to enrich and differentiating instruction
Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of a state and federal
fingerprint background check, completion of VIRTUS Training, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
