e) Assisting the staff with student relations, personnel development, community relations, student discipline, attendance, and the instructional program.
f) Assisting in the review, selection, and recommendation of equipment and instructional supplies.
g) Assisting in conducting needs assessments and making recommendations for curricular offerings and program innovations.
h) Assisting in the scheduling of extra-curricular activities, scheduling classes, and the preparation of student schedules.
i) Assisting in maintaining discipline and designing alternative methods of discipline for both instructional and ancillary staff.
j) Assisting in providing for teacher accountability systems which might include reviewing lesson plan books, monitoring grades, documenting student progress, and reviewing homeroom registers, etc.
k) Assisting in enrollment, orientation, and placement of students.
l) Assisting in coordinating a county activity calendar and supervising county contests and competitions.
m) Assisting in coordinating the state testing program and college entrance placement activities.
n) Assisting in supervising school-sponsored activities involving students which occur during out-of-school days.
