Artistic Gymnastics Competitive Team Head Coach (Tier 3) SUMMARY: This job includes leading and managing X-Cel Artistic Team gymnastics classes.
You will be responsible for lesson plans, routines, and making sure the athletes are ready for competition.
QUALIFICATIONS: The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Requirements - 18 years of age Reliable childcare and transportation Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends Pass a background check Character Traits - Outgoing personality Having a like for children Ability to provide effective communication to athletes and parents Capacity to understand and follow oral and written orders Able to take corrective feedback and apply it in future behavior Take charge attitude with leadership abilities Organized and being able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Electronics - Must have a device where company apps can be downloaded Must have your own working email address Physical Demands - Be able to develop, coach, and safely spot skills of the levels you will teach Be on your feet and active for at least 4 hours at a time Be able to move and adjust equipment accordingly ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following: Working as a team with your peer coaches to review and implement lesson plans Ability to handle high pressure situations such as accidents and minor injuries Being on time, dependable, and maintain the same schedule May be required to get additional certifications Develop and implement seasonal, monthly, and weekly lesson plans Communicating with parents throughout sessions when necessary Choreographing a separate annual show routine for your teams Be able to have effective class management skills and effectively correcting poor behavior Must be able to teach, manage, and spot the levels you are teaching Troubleshoot any issues with athletes and parents as necessary EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in gymnastics 2 to 5 years of competitive coaching experience G.

D or High School Diploma First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date WORK CONDITIONS: Gymnastics facilities are covered, climate-controlled facilities
