A vacancy exists for EL teachers to support the Summer SOLE Program.
Schedule*
June 10th to July 18th - Monday through Thursday
Employment term will consist of Half Days Monday – Thursday, 8:15am – 11:45pm except for paid holidays of Juneteenth (June 19), WV Day (June 20) and Fourth of July.

This position will work two days a week at Eagle and two days at Berkeley Heights during Summer SOLE.

The successful applicant will work with special education students in accordance with their IEP.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience.
Time Sheet / Daily Rate
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for West Virginia licensure with endorsement(s) in Autism or special education certification that covers Autism, and Multi-Categorical Special Education with appropriate grade levels.
ABA trained is preferred but the successful applicant will be provided ABA training if needed.

If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.
