Job Type Description
Berkeley County Schools is seeking qualified candidates for an itinerant English as a Second Language teacher to serve EL students at school locations to be assigned.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience.
Qualification Requirements
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
Holds or can obtain West Virginia teacher certification in Prek-12, with additional EL endorsement.
Spanish fluency preferred.
Preference given to candidates with experience teaching at Secondary level
Additional Job Information
A perm sub, first-class permit, teacher-in-residence or alt cert can be considered if there is a lack of certified candidates.
This is an ESSERF grant funded position and is not guaranteed beyond the 23-24 SY.

WV Teaching Certification in applicable content area required,
